The Trial
The Trial is MajesticMU's exclusive Castle Siege reward — an adaptive hunting ground only the castle-owning guild can enter, and the place to farm Jewel of Guardian.
The Trial — The Castle Owner's Adaptive Hunting Ground
A reward reserved for the rulers of the server. Win Castle Siege, hold the throne, and The Trial is yours alone.
The Trial is one of the exclusive privileges that comes with winning Castle Siege. It is a single, living hunting spot inside the Land of Trials that reads your character the moment you arrive and reshapes itself around you — and only the guild that currently holds the castle can step inside it.
From your very first levels to deep endgame, this spot is always worth your time, which is exactly why it's considered the best farming location on the server. The catch is simple: you have to earn it. Take the castle, and The Trial opens its gates to you and your guild.
Who can enter
Access to The Trial is locked to the Castle Siege owners. Only members of the guild that currently holds the castle — the guild that won the last siege — can enter the area. Everyone else is turned away at the gate.
This means The Trial is a living perk of rulership:
- Win the castle, win the spot. The moment your guild takes the castle, The Trial becomes available to your members.
- Lose the castle, lose the spot. When the castle changes hands at the next Castle Siege, access passes to the new owners. Hold the throne and the hunting ground stays yours.
It's one more reason to fight for the castle — and one more reason to defend it.
Where to find it
Travel to the Land of Trials, reached through the Valley of Loren. Head to the marked hunting clearing near the centre of the map — when a member of the owning guild steps into the area, the spot wakes up and the pack appears within a second.
When no one is standing there, the spot is empty and quiet. It only comes alive for a player who is actually present, so you'll never arrive to a picked-clean camp. It spawns fresh, for you, the instant you walk in.
How it works
The Trial runs on a simple but powerful idea: it always gives you the prey that's perfectly tuned to your power.
When you arrive, the spot looks at your total level (your base Level plus your Master Level) and spawns a pack of 8 monsters drawn from one tier below your current hunting bracket. In other words, it hands you monsters you slightly out-power — so they die fast and clean — while still being high enough on the ladder to drop serious loot.
A few examples of the "one tier below" rule:
| Your total level | The Trial gives you |
|---|---|
| ~400 | Raklion-tier monsters |
| ~870 | Swamp of Darkness — Swamp Wizards |
| ~1000+ | Deep endgame monsters from the tier just beneath you |
| ~1600 | Swamp of Destruction — Shadow Masters of Destruction |
The result is the holy grail of farming: maximum kill speed with top-tier rewards. You're never grinding something trivial that drops nothing, and never stuck on a wall that's too tanky to be efficient.
It retunes to you — live
You don't have to leave and come back for the spot to keep up with you. As your character grows, The Trial re-checks your level continuously and upgrades the pack in real time. Climb into a new bracket and within a second the monsters around you step up to match. The spot grows with you, for the entire life of your character.
Relentless respawns
There's no standing around waiting for a full clear. Every monster you kill is individually replaced a few seconds later, so the pack stays full and the action never stops. Clear three, three come back. Keep moving and the kills keep flowing.
Why it's the best spot on the server
- Exclusive to the rulers. Only the castle-owning guild can hunt here. It's a genuine privilege of winning Castle Siege — not something anyone can walk into.
- Always relevant. From your first hundred levels to the very top of the ladder, The Trial scales to you. It's the one spot you'll never out-grow.
- Peak efficiency. The "one tier below" design means the highest possible kill speed against monsters that still drop premium loot — the best XP-and-loot density you'll find anywhere.
- Instant and fresh. It spawns the moment you arrive and clears out when you leave. No camping, no waiting.
- Constant action. Fast, per-monster respawns keep a full pack in front of you at all times.
The exclusive reward: Jewel of Guardian
The Trial is the home of the Jewel of Guardian on MajesticMU. On top of every monster's normal drops, the spot's pack has a dedicated chance to drop this prized jewel — at a steady, hand-tuned rate for an active hunter. Settle in, keep the kills flowing, and the Guardians add up over a good session.
This is the place to farm Jewel of Guardian on the server. Combined with the access lock, it makes holding the castle genuinely valuable: the ruling guild gets a private pipeline to one of the game's most sought-after jewels.
Tips
- Hunt with your guild. Since The Trial is open only to the castle-owning guild, this is a shared perk — rotate your members through it and keep it busy while you hold the throne.
- Mind the level tuning. The spot tunes itself to the lowest-level hunter standing in the area, so for the cleanest, fastest farm, run it solo or party up with guildmates around your own level.
- Stay in the action zone. The pack lives in the clearing — fight within the spot's radius to keep it spawning and to keep your kills counting.
- Defend the castle. Access lasts only as long as you hold the castle. Win the next siege and The Trial stays yours; lose it and it's gone until you take the throne back.
